It isn't fun, but there are a lot of things you can do to relieve some of the pain. Use the Boppy during tummy time and do it before a feeding. If you feel like the Zantac isn't providing much releif down he road, don't be afraid to ask about another medicine. Zantac didn't work for either of mine and we got on another one pretty quickly. E-mail me if you want other info. There IS life after teflux, but it is so hard to see past it when your baby is hurting!Rachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01322297710240123839noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7445738170415668585.post-54260991722972250122010-05-16T08:03:36.041-05:002010-05-16T08:03:36.041-05:00Taylor, they sell the Nap Nanny at Buybuy Baby as ...Taylor, they sell the Nap Nanny at Buybuy Baby as well. They are kinda pricey but I've heard they works wonders. We don't have one but I wish we did. Propping H up on the Boppy for tummy time is a good suggestion but don't worry about it too much right now.<br />I'm glad to hear y'all are doing well. I hope H continues to feel better on his Baby Zantac.Allisonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18178811512586637977noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7445738170415668585.post-65716996990781291512010-05-15T16:32:10.438-05:002010-05-15T16:32:10.438-05:00Taylor, I just wanted to let you know that I'v...Taylor, I just wanted to let you know that I've been reading your blog for a little while now and I am so amazed by you and your sweet family. Your little boys are precious (and getting more precious by the day). It's great to see someone express the most amazing sentiments of motherhood. Thank you for sharing with all of us. It's been forever since I've seen you but I almost feel like I know you again. :)Stephhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07496575204078386275noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7445738170415668585.post-70799593196759498382010-05-15T05:41:31.304-05:002010-05-15T05:41:31.304-05:00Don't worry about your body right now. My doc...Don't worry about your body right now. My doc had a great comment to share with me..."It took 9 months for your body to get this way. Why should it take any less time for it to get back to normal?" And the breastfeeding will do more for that than you can imagine!Leslie and Geoffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17129469953276927679noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7445738170415668585.post-87463987560676971052010-05-14T16:24:09.100-05:002010-05-14T16:24:09.100-05:00It is so great to see yall are doing well! I wouldn't worry too much about tummy time at this point. You could try a few minutes on his tummy right BEFORE his feeding. The nap nanny looks great. I thought about buying one for William but didn't discover it until he was almost too big for it. They do sell them at Swaddle in Homewood. Have you cut dairy out of your diet? The nurses told me just to try for three days but I couldn't tell a difference until I stopped for almost two weeks. But it did make a huge difference so it might be worth trying. I hate that you and baby H are having to deal with this but it will pass and hopefully it will pass SOON!Annahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16377577195229266499noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7445738170415668585.post-8235992158027477932010-05-14T13:44:05.015-05:002010-05-14T13:44:05.015-05:00Clayton had terrible reflux. We have one for Clayton and he literally slept in it from 8 weeks to 9 months. It was a life saver!! They are expensive but worth EVERY PENNY!!! We did tummy time very little until he was about 5 months old. Everytime we put him on his tummy he threw up and would scream. The older he got the more we did it but it would only be for a few minutes at a time. We propped him up on his boppy on the floor and that helped so that he wasn't horizontal and all that pressure wasn't on his belly. But really we didn't start REALLY doing tummy time until 5 months. And that's fine. He's developed perfectly :) Just go at your own and Harrison's pace. He'll let you know when time is up!!Courtneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07529179178397973392noreply@blogger.com
